The Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator is a new design of sex toy… I love the colouring, and the fade from silver to blue (but that’s no surprise). Rocks Off has really hit it out of the park with the colours for some of their vibrators.

But, how does it fare in use?

First Impressions

As per usual, the Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator arrived in the standard black and gold Rocks Off packaging. I’ve always been a fan of the packaging, it’s simple, and elegant, and not over the top. The clear packaging allows you to see the toy before buying it (sadly, my first set of pictures disappeared, and I’ve thrown the packaging away), and considering people have a tendency to give items barely a glance, it’s important.

Opinions in Use

First things first, before use, make sure you remove the paper disc on top of the batteries!

The Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator has a seal around the screw to ensure it’s watertight and waterproof.

Even though the Rocks Off Atomic Bullet is similar in style to the Joycicles Shimmer or the (Unihorn), the pointed ends feel far pointier. It’s uncomfortable to have it surrounding my clit. It almost feels too big to straddle the clit comfortably, and I swear it’s pushing my labia out of the way to get to it. In the end, I found turning it on its side and moving it was the best way to use it for me. I also found that pressing the Atomic Bullet down at just the right angle, does change the type of vibrations from light and buzzy, to deeper and rumbly.

The button is bigger than the Joycicles which makes me very happy. It takes up all the available space where there could be a button, and that’s what I like to see! Whilst it is insertable, as there’s not much to the toy it’s best used as a genital vibrator.

I do wonder how the two prongs will feel on the frenulum, and the tip of the penis. If you’re a penis owner, and you’ve used this toy please let me know! (If you feel comfy doing so.)

Positives of the Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator

  • Body Safe: Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator is made from ABS plastic, and is non-toxic, non-porous, phthalate-free. To care for it all you need to do is clean it with a bit of soap, and water. Just be mindful around the silicone button – the logo means you need to make sure you get in the nooks and crannies.
  • Twist Cap: To remove the battery, all you have to do is twist the cap, and voila. Unlike the Joycicles, it’s far easier to line the thread up and close it.
  • Two-Pronged Tip: Whilst this also features in the negative, the two-pronged tip does lead to some interesting experimentations. It makes me think differently about how I use a toy to masturbate, and I love a toy that makes me think. We’ve become so used to a standard pattern of vibrators, that the Atomic Bullet is a nice change of pace.
  • Powerful Motor: Rocks Off consistently score high for their powerful motors. Even their budget vibrators and bullet vibes pack a hefty punch, and I am very much in favour.
  • The Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance is easy to use and has 10 settings, 3 of which are speeds – the standard ‘slow, medium, high’, and 7 patterns ranging from short pulses to a repeated 3-second gradual increase of power. The first setting is actually slow, and it’s a pretty decent warm-up speed. To turn it off, you need to hold down for 3 seconds, and to turn it on just hold it down for a second.

Negatives of the Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator

  • Paint Job? A similar point to the Joycicles Shimmer. Whilst ABS plastic is body-safe and non-porous, the faded shimmer is painted on. I do not want you to get flecks of paint in or on your body so please keep an eye out if it starts to fade!
  • Two-Pronged Tip: If you’re not careful, you might jab yourself with these prongs. For science, I tested it out, I put a little pressure on them – a similar type of pressure if you accidentally hold it against you, or it gets mispositioned, and ow. Would not recommend, unless you’re into that. Also, the curve in the middle of the prong is relatively small – size-wise think the tip of a pencil eraser. If you’re looking for something to place around your clit, you might need something a little more flexible.

Accessibility

I can’t help but compare the Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator to the Joycicles. This one is far softer in terms of buttons, though you can still feel the logo under. There’s the same raw power, and because of the design, you can get a better grip, but it’s still slippery – especially, and maybe more so than the Joycicles when wet. It is far easier than the Unihorn/Joycicles to place the Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator between underwear and genitals and leave it there.

To help open the cap, you can press one side against a surface and press lightly, and it will pop around. Compared to most vibrators I’ve tried, it’s fairly easy to open, more so than other Rocks Off toys.

Positives

  • Body-safe – ABS plastic.
  • Pinpoint vibrations.
  • Powerful for a budget vibrator.
  • Discrete
  • Quiet in Use
  • Easy to use.

Negatives

  • The two-pronged tip might feel to pointy.
  • The curve is quite small, might not be big enough for some clits.
  • Slippery when wet.
  • Potential for the design flaking off.

 Final Thoughts

Do I like it? Yes. Will I use it often? Maybe. Will I pick its counterpart over it? Most definitely. I really like the experimentations in design that I’m seeing, and I can’t wait to see what they do next. I think the ‘make it or break it’ will be whether or not you like the design and the idea of the two prongs. They’re certainly different, but maybe not for everyone.

Unfortunately, it’s not widely available anymore, however, I did manage to find it on Luke and Jack if you’re eager to grab it.

I was given the Rocks Off Atomic Streamlined Elegance Vibrator to review by Rocks Off in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
