Packaging

The packaging for The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator is rather simple. There is not an overabundance of packaging, the design is clear,  and that’s the way sex toy packaging should be in my very biased opinion.

Opinions in Use

I haven’t used a slimline vibrator in years. I own a lot of specialised vibrators – like the Zumio, or I own lots of wand-style vibrators – like my Doxy wands. So, I was really looking forward to trying The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator.

Unfortunately, though not surprising for the price point, the slimline vibrator doesn’t come with batteries so I had to source some. It wasn’t too much problem,  but I do try to avoid batteries nowadays – even the rechargeable ones as they have an end to their lifespan. I did love that the plastic slip inside the vibrator showed which way up the batteries go because even though I am an adult I can never figure it out.

I tried out the vibrator when I wasn’t particularly turned on but had decided that it was time to wank, as you do. And it turns out, I’ve been missing out when it comes to slimline vibrators! I was rather surprised when I had an orgasm from The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator, and surprise orgasms don’t happen often nowadays. The vibrations are deep, and rumbly which usually don’t get me off, but whilst experimenting with the tip of the vibrator, and applying pressure I found myself pleasantly surprised.

The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator can be used on the nipples, on the penis, along the ribs, and all along the body to tease as it’s got a really nice matte texture. It’s a great toy to use flat against areas like the perineum, and because there’s so much length you can slide it along, or use it for pinpoint stimulation. There is enough length to The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator that you’ve got a decent 5.5inches to insert vaginally, but do keep it away from anal orifices as there is no flared base.

Whilst I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it’s ‘whisper quiet’, I would say that it is one of the quieter toys I’ve tried. As long as you don’t leave it on a table, or drop it on the floor the noise of the vibrations can be easily masked with a blanket and some music.

Lastly, it is a slimline vibrator so the vibrations are going to travel through your hand. However, they travel a lot less than expected as the vibrations are concentrated in the tip and lower third of the toy.

Great for:

  • Beginners
  • Those on a budget.
  • People who like deep, rumbly vibrations.

Avoid:

  • For anal use due to lack of flared base.
  • If you like soft toys as ABS plastic doesn’t bend.

Positives of the Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator

  • Value for Money: For £19, you’re not going to beat it. It’s a well built slimline vibrator, that’s cute, and in bright colours. Blush Novelties are bringing well made, safe, and cheerful vibrators to the masses. What’s not to love about that!?
  • Powerful: Whilst I will say that it is great for beginners, please do not underestimate the raw power this vibrator has. The vibrations are deep and rumbly, and they’re enough to get me off – something most vibrating products don’t do. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of power The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator contained. I’ve paid a lot more money than £19 and received very mediocre if not appalling vibrators in the past.
  • Cute Design & Matt Texture: Personally, I rather like the design. I think it’s cute, and a fun novelty vibrator. But, I know that for some it might be a bit too much – a bit too niche, and Kawaii. It’s the first time I’ve seen cute ice creams on a vibrator, and I hope it won’t be the last. There’ s too many people that take orgasms seriously – including me, it’s a nice little reminder that it can be fun, and lighthearted.

Negatives of the Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator

  • ‘Multi-speed’: Whilst the description says there are ‘multiple speeds’, there really aren’t, or if there are I can’t find them. It’s one of those twists ‘too much to the left, too much to the right’ types of situations that you’ll just end up frustrated if you’re trying to aim for a certain speed. I’ve tried multiple times to find the ‘multi-speed’, but they elude me.
  • Weighty: The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator takes 2 AA batteries so when you handle it you’ve got the weight of 2 AA batteries, PLUS the toy which totals a whopping 116g. That’s a fair bit when you compare it to the Zumio at 73g. The vibrator itself has a bit of weight to it too at 69g without batteries – you wouldn’t want to throw it at your partner, and for it to accidentally hit them for example … not that I’ve done that. Moving on from that …
  • Battery Coil in Lid: The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator is a battery-operated toy and thus needs that dreaded metal spring. I’ve tried replacing the batteries for The Collection Sweet Cream Classic Slimline Vibrator at my base ‘okay’, when sweaty, when sleepy, and when in pain and it’s a fuss each time. It almost reminds me of a jack-in-the-box as that’s how much force is behind the spring.  However, I’ve had numerous vibrators with terrible coils that break. This coil feels like it’s going to withstand a bunch of battery changes, and accidental unscrewing’s, which is great … but not for my wrists.
  • Battery Cap: If I orgasm, it’s usually a full-body workout, so in the end, I’m rather sweaty. This means that shiny plastic is just too slippery if I’m the slightest bit sweaty. If the cap was the same material as the body of the vibrator, everything would be fine!

Round-Up

Positives

  • Value for money at £19.
  • Bright, and cheerful – almost novelty.
  • Well Built
  • Powerful!

Negatives

  • The print isn’t for everyone.
  • Not really a multi-speed vibrator.
  • 2 AA batteries make it a bit heavy.
  • Battery coil in lid takes some pushing down to tighten.
  • The handle could use more grip.

Conclusion

Would I buy it myself? Probably not, but I think for £19, you can’t, and won’t be able to beat it. I do wish they’d make a bright patterned version of The Slimline Vibrator, or maybe even geometric shapes so I could convince my partner to use it when not blindfolded. Whist I find the ice creams cute, in the words of my partner, ‘it’s rather off-putting to have eyes watching you while you masturbate.
